OMS IQ LITE Backpack

The "hiking backpack" design of this harness along with the rugged construction and lightweight design make this an ideal harness for any diving environment. OMS presents the IQ Lite Backpack! Weighing only {2.4 lbs | 1.08 kgs} this harness system can fit into any gear bag or carry on.

Incorporating anodized aluminum hardware which provides maximum strength with minimum weight. When combined with the Performance Mono wing and two cam straps this system still weighs less than { 6 lbs | 2.7 kgs} making it an ultimate travel harness. The closed foam lumber pad makes for extremely fast drying so no waiting around or packing wet gear for the flight home. The OMS IQ Lite also offer you the option to add a hard backplate (in a convenient pocket located just behind the lumbar pad) for additional stability if desired. Simply slide it in the pocket which is sealed with sturdy velcro closure.

You may also mate the Lite Backpack with ANY of the other OMS wings to create the perfect configuration for the diving environment you prefer. All of the OMS weight systems are compatible so you may choose the Trim weights or either Ballast system as needed. This Backpack has all the features of the classic harness but offers a lower weight alternative for the nomadic diver. It will accept a 1 inch, 1.5 inch or 2 inch crotch strap. This is the harness only and does not include cam straps, weight pockets or a wing.
